   I bought the phone yesterday and am doing well. I haven’t bought a memory card yet. Other than mp3’s etc… can programs be stored on the card? If I download 50 programs will they just take up ram even when I am not using them, or can they be placed out of the way on the card, keeping the ram free for browsing and active programs?

   There is two parts to the memory. One part is Storage the other part is RAM (which the programs load into when launched.) when you install an app you have to choice to install them on the device or on the storage card. (I usually install on the device just to keep it local.) Once installe it stays on there until you uninstall it. When you launch the app it loads the program into RAM so you can use it. Once you close the program (and go to running programs to make sure the app closes.) the RAM is reclaimed and ready to be used for another app.

   Can you watch youtube videos on the phone and is the internet the same as browsing it on a Treo or other PDA phones or have they improved it to browse the internet closer to like the iPhone?

    Hello Mr Bowman
    I heard one comment in your final review of the XV6800 that states that there will be a REV A firmware update available for this unit from Verizon. Do you have confirmation of this? Because the sales support person I talked to says the unit does not have the REV A chipset (unlike the Sprint HTC Mogul)

    Maybe you got more detail from Verizon. Can you confirm?

    [..YouTube..] When you first open the phone, how do you get the background like that, with the digital numbers. I have tried everthing and it nothing seems to work.
