The official press release has been published and the long awaiting Blackberry Bold is coming to AT&T November 4th @ $299.99 for a two year contract Ouch! The mail-in rebate is for $100 (Why on earth do companies still do mail in rebates to hope you don’t mail it in I suppose. Mail in rebates=FAIL), and if you’re not down with a 2-year agreement, the Bold will run $375 with a 1-year contract (and the same $100 mail-in rebate), and $550 with no contract.

A bit high compared to other PDA/Smartphone and advance devices out there.  I would expect a drop in price by either Christmas shopping season or by the beginning of next year. If your a die hard blackberry fan and need the latest right now grab it up Nov. 4 if not I would wait for the price drop that is sure to happen after the rush.
