With the new Samsung Galaxy S4 debuting it’s only fitting that we do a quick comparison of it against its older brother the Galaxy S3. When you put the two phone together and you first look, yeah they do look a lot alike but when you really hold both in hand and take a deeper look you can tell the different and how much of a big step the Galaxy S4 is in comparison.
The S4 right of the bat from holding it feels much more premium then the S3. The screen sizes and resolution don’t even compare. There is a huge different between the Galaxy S3’s 4.8″ 720p AMOLED display and the Galaxy S4’s 5″ Full 1080p HD Super AMOLED display. Processors are also different with the original S3 having an international quad-core model and a US dual-core, the S4’s processor choices pack a quad-core for the US and a octa-core for international version.
The cameras are different with a larger 13 megapixel lens on the GS4 compared to the 8 megapixel lens on the GS3. Software also is a huge leap, both run Android Jelly Bean with the S3 based on Android 4.1 and the GS4 based on Android 4.2 but the software additions that the Galaxy S4 is far and beyond what the Galaxy S3 has and that phone packed pretty good software. Check the video for more detailed comparison.
