i installed the HTC home screen…but the only thing i found is that it no longer shows my battery life meter at the top right….is there anyway to add this back onto the home screen?

i did the whole installation but cant find the htc home customizer how do i get it or find it?

How do you switch the weather to degrees farenheit? It defaults to celcius.

When you click on the weather icon to choose the city go to to bottom right and choose options. In there you should be able to change it up.

for example I accidentally dup’d some items on “launcher” tab
but I cant figure out how to delete it.. and or add something else to replace it. any advice?

I’m still working on the video for this but it should be up soon. Work has been slamming me as of late so I haven’t has as much time as before.

I love how this looks and works. I do have a problem though. I turned off my phone and now do not have a working plugin. It defaulted back to the original 6800 look. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if there will be a fix to improve the volume in the ear piece of the phone so you can hear better?????
HTC XV6800 Phone.
I was able to get the HTCHOME download without any problems, thank you by the way. The Bowman pack has not been as easy; when I click to download there are no files? What you have posted has been very helpful with the use of my phone. Do you also have knowledge of where to get different Dialer Skins and Today backgrounds? Thank you for any input given very much appreciated. Xv6800 Verizon carrier.

Great information. Question for you: with my old pda if the battery went dead I lost ALL my contact and schedule information – do you know if that will happen with the XV6800? Thanks

The windows mobile PDAs will reserve a certain amount of battery power to be sure you won’t lose your contacts. However if you wait too long like am month or so to charge it you will eventually lose everything because it will lose the minimal charge. But if it dies during the day you should be fine.
Will this work with WM 6.1?

By the dates on these posts, it seems as though you may be fading on the xv6800. I know, it is quickly becoming an antiquated phone, but still one of the models that does not require a data plan for Verizon. I just purchased one and it is my first smart phone. I like your YouTube video tutorials. What I wanted to ask you about is this iPhone emulator plug-in or skin (I am not great with the terminology). I see xv6800’s that have iPhone Home Screens with sliders and flick-scrolling, etc. You would be a hero if you could find the app, show us how to load it and show us the features. I gotta have it and would probably be willing to pay for it. Please help me.
I tried to download the file but it is saying that it is corrupted or invalid. Can you help? I also want to view youtube. So, where do I get those files.

Currently I no longer have my XV6800 since I have upgraded to an HTC Touch Pro so I wouldn’t be able to any videos on it anymore.
