The Kingston MobileLite G3 USB 3.0 Card Reader is a great solution for people who need fast transfer speeds on the go. A lot of card reader build into laptops are either slow or very picky about compatibility with SD, Micro SD and Memory Stick Pro cards and a lot of laptops and even desktops aren’t even coming with card readers build in anymore. This is a problem for the data user on the go more specifically the photographers. The MobileLite G3 is a great product to have.
The card reader is easily pocketable and has a key chain attachment. It’s compatible with standard SD, SDHC, SDXC, MicroSD, MicroSDHC, MicroSDXC and Memory Stick Pro Duo. Its USB 3.0 for fast transfer speeds but it’s also compatible with USB 2.0 but will be slower in data transfer. We do a quick transfer speed test in our video and we got about 22 Mbps per second with a SDHC card and use USB 3.0. Nice speeds and I like the protective slide out cover you can put on each side to cover the USB pin and the cards that are in the card reader. If you’re in the search for a quick storage card sharing solution the MobileLite G3 is a good choice.
