MICHAEL KORS LAUNCHES 360 MARKETING CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTING THE BRAND’S NEXT GENERATION OF SMARTWATCHES POWERED WITH WEAR OS BY GOOGLE

NEW YORK – November 5, 2019 Michael Kors is pleased to announce a 360 marketing campaign to promote two of the brand’s newest smartwatches: Michael Kors Access MKGO and Lexington 2, powered with Wear OS by Google™. The campaign stars model Adesuwa Aighewi, and features the tag line “Watch life fall into place”—a nod to the ease the smartwatch functionalities bring to everyday life.

Featured in the campaign is one of Michael Kors’ best-selling platforms, the Lexington 2 smartwatch, which has glamorous designs and enhanced technology to suit your life. With the addition of a speaker, Michael Kors is excited to offer users the ability to take calls on their smartwatch. Using a proprietary app available now, both Android™ phone and iPhone® users will be able to make and receive Bluetooth-enabled phone calls directly from their watch. Make quick mobile payments using Google Pay™, as well as receive proactive help with the Google Assistant—get answers, see commute times, check your flight status and more.

Additionally, the video features Michael Kors Access MKGO, the brand’s lightest smartwatch to date. Google Fit™ makes it simple to change and track activity goals with Heart Points and Move Minutes, and notifies users on their progress and completion. Users will continue to have access to a variety of apps, including Spotify. Showcasing these features, the campaign videos follow Aighewi as she escapes the hustle of daily life by using her watch to take a moment for herself. The campaign will run globally in specific markets on digital and outdoor advertising channels through December 31, 2019.

In addition to the styles in the campaign, the brand is introducing a special edition version of the Michael Kors Access MKGO smartwatch that features Swarovski® crystal-embellished silicone straps, just in time for the holiday gifting season. It will be available starting November 1.
