In this video, we’ll show you how PS5 remote play on PS4 works. You may have noticed after you transferred your data from your PS4 to your PS5 that there is a new app installed on your PS4 called PS5 Remote Play.
The PS5 Remote Play app allows you to connect over the internet to your PS5 from your PS4 anywhere. You can start gaming and playing games on your PS5 using your PS4 remotely.
The setup is pretty simple. You need to go on your PS5 and go to Settings, System, and Remote play and click on it to enable it. If you’re not signed in to both your PS4 or PS5, you’ll need to click on Link Device on the PS5 and get the code so that you can enter it on your PS4.
Now on your PS4, you just need to open up the PS5 Remote Play app and then click on Find your PS5. As said before, if you are signed into both consoles, the system will automatically find and connect you to your PS5.
You can play both PS5 and PS4 games. Graphics will appear lower since its streaming over the internet, and some games will have controller lag, especially if they are not designed for this feature.
This is a great way to extend the life of your PS4 and be able to play remotely someplace else.
