TCL 10 Pro Unboxing & First Impressions: Impressive So Far…

We have the TCL 10 Pro in the house. Here is our unboxing and first impressions so far.

I’ve been waiting since CES 2020 to check out the TCL 10 Pro. It’s coming with a great list of specs and features at a perfect price point under the $500 mark.

The TCL 10 Pro features a 6.47 inch curved AMOLED full HD plus display with HDR 10 support. A Snapdragon 675 processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, 4500 mAh battery, and running Android 10 with TCL UI.

One of the focused features will be the camera system. The front-facing camera is 24 megapixels with a punch hole teardrop design on the front that can you can hide in the software. The rear camera is where all the action is. A quad-camera setup with 2 LED flashes and a 64-megapixel sensor. There is also a super low light sensor that should help with photos and videos.  Light scene mode is a feature I haven’t’ seen in smartphones before but looking forward to testing.

There is also some cool add on like the in-display fingerprint sensor.  When you press and hold down it brings up a quick action menu. There is a dedicated smart key that you can be customized to perform various actions like bright up google assistant or the camera.

The fit and finish of the TCL 10 Pro is one thing that stands out. Metal and glass with an excellent smooth two-tone finish on the back make it feel like your spending more than just $500 on this.

There is more to learn about the TCL 10 Pro, check out the video and let me know if there is anything particular you want to know during my testing.  We also have the 10L in house and here is our impression so far.
