Dark Souls Nintendo Switch Jumps Summer, Trips Into The Fall

Dark Souls: Remastered - Nintendo Switch
The Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered missed its summer party but will around for the fall block party.

Dark Souls: Remastered coming to the Nintendo Switch In The Fall Missing The Summer

The remastered version of Dark Souls for the Nintendo switch is finally coming on October 19th. It was initially supposed to release alongside the versions for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One in May. Bandai Namco didn’t say the reason for the delay other than it was pushing it to a “late summer” release and now we have the official date of Oct. 19th which puts it in the fall.

Dark Souls: Remastered will play in 1080p when in the Switch Dock and 720p when undocked and will run at 30 FPS. The Solaire of Astora amiibo will release on the same day. The amiibo will unlock the “Praise the Sun” gesture in the game. You will also get all the DLC for the game when purchased.  Bandai Namco will also test network performance on Nintendo’s online network before the release of the game.
