Today Lenovo announced the 4K, VR Ready and portable IdeaCentre Y710.

4K Gaming and VR On The Go With The Lenovo IdeaCentre Y710 Cube

Today, Lenovo announced the new IdeaCentre Y710 Cube. The new desktop comes with a portable design ready for travel and packs the spec options of a full gaming desktop. You can configure the IdeaCentre Y710 with a 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to32 GB of DDR 4 RAM, a 2TB HDD + 256 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home and up to a 8 GB Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics card. The Y710 is also setup to be a “Console Conqueror” as you can add an Xbox One Wireless controller receiver to it for more console-like gaming.

The system is also VR Ready for the US models, for those that want to do some VR gaming.  You’ll also be able to play gaming in 4K with ease for those that have 4K displays and TVs.

The Y710 will be available in the US starting this October for a starting price of $1,299 configured with a GTX 1070.

For those who want even more control over their gaming setups, the Cube also comes with the option of an integrated Xbox One™ Wireless receiver with one Xbox One controller. The receiver supports up to eight Xbox One controllers simultaneously for gaming sessions with friends.
