The Galaxy Note 7 Is More Than Just an S7 Edge Clone
While Samsung is having battery issues with the Note 7 which they are fixing with a recall program. Eve with this there are still some great reasons to buy the Galaxy Note 7 once the get past the battery issues.
While this isn’t our official review, we can at leave give you some info on our thought so far.
The Note 7 is packed with features as you would expect, three of the notable new features is the IP68 water resistance for both the phone and the S-Pen. It will work underwater. So you don’t have to worry about running for cover when a rainstorm breaks out.
The Note 7 packs the specs inside that you would expect from a flagship smartphone with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a returning Micro SD Card slot to add additional storage, 16 Megapixel primary camera with HDR video capture, 5.7-inch quadHD edge display, USB Type C and fast wired and wireless charging. These specs will make any tech geek happy.
For software, we have an updated version of TouchWiz running on Android 6.0. They made some changes to the notification section which seems a lot more cluttered. They’ve made some changes to the S-Pen software that adds new translate features which let to highlight any text and translate it to another language on the fly. The S-Pen is also improved for drawing to give the artist, even more, control, and detail of their latest artwork.
These are just a few features of the Galaxy Note 7. The Note also has a ton of cases, cover, and keyboard accessories and there is even a Gear VR specifically made for it because of the USB-C port.
